Company Overview:
Our client, an ASX-listed uranium company, is searching for a Senior Exploration Geologist. The position will lead and execute exploration programs to advance key projects in the portfolio. Your expertise in geological analysis, fieldwork, and project management will be instrumental in executing company discovery and project development objectives.
Key Responsibilities:

  • Design, plan, and execute comprehensive exploration programs, including geological mapping, geochemical sampling, drilling, and geophysical surveys to advance company projects.

  • Lead and supervise field exploration teams, providing technical guidance, training, and mentorship to junior geologists and field staff.

  • Compile, analyse, and interpret geological data to support generation of high-quality technical reports, presentations, and exploration updates for internal and external stakeholders.

  • Manage relationships with external consultants, contractors, and service providers to ensure timely and cost-effective delivery of exploration services and equipment.

  • Monitor and adhere to health, safety, and environmental regulations and best practices, promoting a culture of safety and sustainability within all exploration activities.

  • Contribute to developing and managing exploration budgets, timelines, and resource allocations, ensuring alignment with company objectives and financial targets.


  • Bachelor's degree in a Geoscience Discipline.

  • Proficiency in geological software and modelling tools (e.g., MapInfo, ArcGIS, Leapfrog, Micromine, etc.).

  • Demonstrated experience in planning and executing exploration programs, including drilling, sampling, and geophysical surveys.

  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to interpret complex geological data and generate actionable insights.

  • Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively across multidisciplinary teams and stakeholders.

  • Prior experience working in Western Australia.
