About Iron Cove Global is currently representing several ASX-listed gold explorers with high-potential projects across Western Australia. We are seeking expressions of interest from talented and driven Senior Exploration Geologists to join the respective teams. The positions offer the opportunity to lead and execute exploration programs on greenfield and brownfields projects, contribute to resource growth and work alongside highly experienced technical teams.
Key Responsibilities - Design, plan, and oversee exploration drilling programs (RC, diamond and aircore) to achieve project milestones.
- Conduct geological mapping, sampling and logging.
- Interpret geological and geochemical data to develop exploration targets and resource models.
- Manage contractors and field teams to ensure high-quality operational standards.
- Maintain accurate geological databases and ensure QA/QC protocols are implemented and followed.
- Support preparation of technical reports, presentations and updates for ASX reporting requirements.
- Champion safety, environmental and community standards in all exploration activities.
- Mentor and support junior geologists and field technicians.
Skills & Experience - Bachelor’s degree in Geology or Earth Sciences discipline.
- 5–10 years of gold exploration experience, ideally with time spent in the WA gold sector.
- Experience with exploration drilling programs and resource development.
- Proficiency in geological software (e.g., Micromine, Leapfrog, ARCGis or similar 3D modelling tools).
- Strong analytical, interpretive and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work in remote field locations (on Campaign rotations).
- Excellent communication and leadership skills.
- Valid manual driver’s licence and the right to work in Australia.
