Overview: Iron Cove Global is a leading executive search practice specialising in the source and selection of key technical, leadership and executive talent for the global mining, resources and energy sectors. We are seeking a driven Recruitment Consultant to join our growing team. This role offers a genuine opportunity to work on high-impact technical and executive search mandates alongside experienced practitioners, developing your career within a specialised global firm.
Key Responsibilities: - Support and progressively lead search assignments across the full lifecycle, including search strategy, candidate sourcing, screening, assessment and placement;
- Build and maintain relationships with candidates and hiring managers across the mining, resources and energy industries;
- Contribute to business development activity, including client research, market mapping and outreach to prospective clients;
- Develop sector knowledge and provide market insights to clients and colleagues;
- Collaborate with internal team members to deliver on mandates and strengthen the firm's market presence.
Required Experience: - 1–5 years' experience in recruitment, executive search or talent acquisition (agency or in-house);
- Exposure to mining, resources or energy sectors is desirable but not essential – genuine interest in the industry and a willingness to learn is key;
- Demonstrated ability to source, engage and assess candidates and manage a search process end to end;
- Strong communication, relationship-building and stakeholder management skills;
- Commercially minded with an appetite to develop business development capability;
- Organised, resilient and comfortable working to deadlines across multiple assignments;
- Self-motivated with the ability to work independently and as part of a small, collaborative team.
