About the Company

Role Overview:
The Chief Executive Officer will lead the next phase of growth, from mineral discovery and resource definition through corporate development, financing and potential strategic partnerships. This is a hands-on, entrepreneurial role suited to a commercially minded leader who can drive both technical inputs for and corporate efforts for a growing junior explorer.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and execute a growth-focused corporate strategy to advance the African gold portfolio and build shareholder value.
  • Oversee target generation, drilling programs, resource definition and studies, ensuring JORC compliance and data integrity.
  • Ensure adherence to ASX Listing Rules, continuous disclosure, and best-practice governance.
  • Build and mentor a high-performing multi-disciplinary team across Australia and Africa.
  • Manage country risk, permitting and operating logistics; ensure contractor and budget discipline.
  • Serve as the company’s public face with investors, analysts, media, and industry forums.
Qualifications & Experience
  • Proven executive leadership in mining/exploration (CEO/COO/GM/VP or equivalent) with a track record in gold exploration and project advancement.
  • Expat experience outside of home country origin is ideal.
  • Demonstrated success in raising capital and managing investor relations on the ASX (or comparable public markets).
  • Strong understanding of exploration geology, study phases and JORC reporting; ability to scrutinise technical work and allocate capital effectively.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation and stakeholder engagement skills.
  • Bachelor’s or Master’s in Geology, Mining Engineering, or related technical discipline; MBA advantageous.

  • Technically informed, able to partner closely with exploration teams and assess new opportunities rigorously.
  • Culturally aware and collaborative, able to engage respectfully with communities and traditional authorities.
  • Resilient and adaptable, comfortable operating across multiple jurisdictions and fast-moving junior environments.
Remuneration: Competitive base, bonus aligned to KPI’s and company performance.
