About Us: Our client, an ASX-listed gold exploration company with international projects, is currently searching for a Chief Executive Officer. As the company continues to develop its precious metals projects and expand its portfolio, a dynamic leader is required to join as Chief Executive Officer.
Position Overview The CEO will steer the company and play a pivotal role in the ongoing development of key gold projects. The ideal candidate will have over ten years of progressive industry experience, preferably with a geoscience background. This role requires a strategic leader capable of advancing current projects while supporting business development, project generation and M&A activities. The successful candidate will work closely with a proven and experienced board to execute strategic goals and objectives.
Key responsibilities: - Lead and manage the company’s business operations and strategic direction.
- Oversee the ongoing development of key projects in tier-1 locations.
- Drive project generation and M&A activities.
- Ensure alignment of all business operations with the company’s strategic goals and objectives.
- Foster relationships with stakeholders, including investors, regulatory bodies, and consulting/contractor groups.
- Drive business growth through effective leadership and strategic planning.
Requirements: - Over ten years of progressive industry experience in the minerals industry.
- Strong background in geoscience or engineering, with a proven track record in project development &/or mineral exploration.
- Experience in business development, project review and M&A activities.
- Demonstrated ability to lead and inspire a team.
- Excellent strategic planning and execution skills.
- Strong communication and stakeholder management abilities.
- Perth-based role with travel as required.
