Overview Our client, an ASX-listed gold and critical minerals exploration company, is seeking a Chief Executive Officer, advancing a portfolio of Northern Hemisphere projects. These assets are strategically positioned within Tier-1 jurisdictions and aligned with global demand for precious and energy transition commodities.
Based in Perth, the CEO will assume full responsibility for corporate leadership, driving exploration strategy, advancing project development and executing a clear capital markets and growth agenda. A core mandate of the role is to engage capital markets, raise finance and originate and deliver M&A opportunities that enhance the Company’s asset base and market positioning.
Key Responsibilities - Define and execute the Company’s Northern Hemisphere gold and critical minerals growth strategy.
- Provide leadership across geological, technical and project evaluation programs to drive discovery, resource growth and project advancement.
- Lead capital markets engagement, including equity raisings, investor relations and ongoing market communication.
- Originate, assess and execute M&A, joint venture and strategic partnership opportunities to support growth.
- Oversee corporate management, financial performance and cost discipline across exploration and development activities.
- Prepare and deliver ASX announcements, investor presentations, quarterly reports and broader market communications.
- Lead commercial negotiations, due diligence and transaction execution processes across new and existing opportunities.
Qualifications & Experience - Tertiary qualification in a relevant technical, engineering, finance or business discipline.
- Demonstrated capital markets capability, with experience raising equity and engaging institutional and retail investors.
- Experience executing M&A transactions, joint ventures or strategic partnerships within the resources sector.
- Sound understanding of JORC reporting requirements, ASX compliance and corporate governance frameworks.
- Highly developed communication, negotiation and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to engage effectively across technical, financial and government audiences.
